BAM Design is a market leader in the use of digital and were the first design practice to achieve the BSI accreditation for BIM. We offer an information management and document set up consultancy, which ensures that projects meet BIM Level 2 standards and client’s own BIM requirements. Our team also has extensive experience of creating digital models for existing and new buildings, which can be used throughout the operations phase to improve maintenance activities.

Our specialist building physics engineers/dynamic modelling team carry out comprehensive analyses on projects at concept stage or as part of a detailed design. We undertake a wide variety of modelling processes including building energy performance, natural ventilation studies, thermal comfort and overheating risk assessments, and Building Regulations compliance. 

Passive design is at the core of what we do and we use industry-leading analysis tools to provide meaningful ‘optioneering’ along with optimisation of building parameters to offer our clients low energy and cost effective design solutions.

Detailed modelling during the later stages of projects gives our clients accurate data on anticipated energy consumption and comfort metrics which is often ratified during post occupancy evaluations. This helps our clients plan ahead and have confidence in how their new buildings will perform.
