The company has arranged two events for local companies to attend. On April 15, they will be hosting an event at Truro Golf Club, Treliske. And on May 6th the company will be hosting another at Exeter Racecourse.
In the past four years BAM has handed over projects worth over £151 million in the two counties alone. Mr Kingdon added:
“There are very encouraging signs across all our sectors – health, education, offices, leisure and retail – that BAM will be busy for some time. Clients are recognising that the strength of our local suppliers and knowledge is a key factor in how we deliver the quality that BAM is known for.”
BAM is one of the founders of the new South West Shared Apprenticeship Scheme so it is keen to hear from firms who wish to be involved.
Mr Kingdon concluded:
“This is a win-win situation. As we create more state of the art buildings across the West Country, our approach has always been to focus on bringing local economic benefits as a consequence. That’s a good model for how business in Britain should work.”
